World Cup 2010 favourites Spain showed they mean business yesterday, crushing Poland with a 6-0 victory while having an amazing performance on the field throughout the entire friendly game. Rivals Portugal also had a total of 24 shots at goal in their friendly game against Mozambique, and the final score of the match was 3-0 for Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest of the Portuguese team. The two Iberian neighbour countries are among the favourites for the World Cup trophy, though neither has ever progressed beyond the semi-finals.

Spanish striker Fernando Torres made a scoring return from injury as Spain destroyed Poland in their last World Cup 2010 friendly game. Torres replaced David Villa in the 66th minute, and showed that he has fully recovered and is in excellent shape. Andres Iniesta left the friendly game with an injury, but doctors confirmed today it is nothing serious. David Silva scored added two goals for Spain (14′ and 51′), Cesc Fábregas, David Villa and Pedro also had one goal each in the friendly game. World Cup 2010 friendly game: Portugal versus Mozambique 3-0
Nani is out of the World Cup 2010 due to a shoulder injury, but that didn’t stop the Portuguese national team from celebrating a victory against Mozambique. Portugal had an easy afternoon in the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium of Johannesburg, with Hugo Almeida coming in a substitute to score two goals in the second half.
