Most World Cup 2010 teams are already in South Africa or flying in this week, but there are still quite a few last minute international friendly matches going on between contestants. We take a closer look on Saturday’s World Cup 2010 friendlies, complete with video highlights and detailed reports.

World Cup 2010 friendly matches: Serbia against Cameroon 4-3

A spectacular game between Serbia and Cameroon, full of goals and with both teams putting up a great performance before their World Cup 2010 official games start. Cameroon took the lead twice with Pierre Webó, but Serbia came back to tie the friendly game first with Miloš Krasić and later on with Marko Pantelić. Nenad Milijaš scored a penalty shot for Serbia on the 44th minute, and again Pantelić a minute later to lead 4-2. Ghana came back in the 67th minute to score the last goal of the international friendly match with Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. Video highlights from Serbia against Cameroon world cup friendly below:

World Cup 2010 friendly matches: Romania against Honduras 3-0

World Cup 2010 friendly matches: Switzerland against Italy 1-1

Another disappointing afternoon for Italy, with the World Cup Champions struggling to get in shape before their opening game next week. The friendly game against Switzerland was only exciting for the first few minutes, and later on it turned into boring long possessions from both opponents. Gokhan Inler scored the first goal of the international friendly for Switzerland in the 10th minute, and Quagliarella tied the game four minutes later.
