Denmark is located in Northern Europe and is the most southern of all the Nordic / Scandinavian countries. Only around five million people populate Denmark, but the country has one of the highest living standards in the world with exceptional economy and business opportunities. The national language is Danish and Denmark’s currency is the Danish krone (DKK). The Capital (and largest city) is Copenhagen with almost two million inhabitants in the greater metro area. The World Cup 2010 in South Africa is going to be the 4th time that Denmark will be participating, with their highest placement for the football team being reaching the Quarter-finals in 1998.
