The Greek Football Association is about to offer a contract renewal to manager Otto Rehhagel according to sources. Discussions are set to start sometime in March, and the renewal will include an option for Rehhagel to continue his great work all the way until 2012 in case the Greek national team qualifies for Euro 2012 hosted by Poland and Ukraine. The German coach even though he is pushing 72 he hasn’t decided to retire yet, and Greece is counting on him to go on after the 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa. “King Otto” as is his nickname has the absolute trust of the whole country and the Greek football team will basically do anything to keep him in the roster.
