It seems that coach Fabio Capello is still not used to the English way of life, where a great performance from the national team will get some descent coverage, but sexy WAG stories go directly on the front page. Capello attacked a team of paparazzi yesterday in South Africa, that had set camp outside of England’s hotel trying to take pictures of his players while training in their rooms.
“Why are you taking photos of the rooms? No excuses!” an angry Capello shouted before storming off. According to British media this is the first time the Italian coach is loosing his temper like that. Capello had earlier that day talked with Wayne Rooney about his temper, the young player had verbally attacked a referee during the last friendly game of England. But after the paparazzi incident Fabio Capello is definitely no role model for his players regarding anger management.
According to ex captain John Terry this has been a very stressful week for Fabio Capello: “He is not at all satisfied with our performance in the last World Cup 2010 friendly games. He was in the worst situation I have ever seen him,” said Terry. “At half-time he talked to all of us in a way he never did before. But the coach is a winner, even during practice he can snap for something really not that important.”
