The coach of the Ivory Coast Sven-Göran Eriksson has selected the following 23 player squad for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa that compromise the team’s official World Cup roster. Coach Eriksson has named six forwards in the final Côte d’Ivoire world cup squad for South Africa, a clearly attacking team led by Chelsea duo Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou. The list below is the official Ivory Coast World Cup team roster as announced before June 1st 2010 and cannot be modified unless a player gets injured before the opening game of the Ivory Coast in the 2010 World Cup. The captain of Ivory Coast is of course Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.
