The coach of the United States Bob Bradley has selected the following 23 player squad for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa that compromise the team’s World Cup squad. Included in the USA squad is AC Milan defender Oguchi Onyewu who is on the injury list with a fractured knee since October, and the player is fighting against time to be ready for South Africa this summer. The list below is the official USA World Cup team roster as announced before June 1st 2010 and cannot be modified unless a player gets injured before the opening game of the United States in the 2010 World Cup. The captain of USA’s World Cup team is Carlos Bocanegra of French club Rennes.
