Raymond Domenech has formally announced the following 23 player team for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa that compromise the team’s official World Cup squad. Domenech, who had originally had 24 players selected left Lassana Diarra behind since the player was ill during most of the preparation period. The list below is the final France World Cup team roster as selected before the deadline of June 1st 2010 and cannot be modified unless a player gets injured before the tournament opening game of France in the 2010 World Cup this summer. The captain of the French World Cup team is Thierry Henry.
