The coach of Denmark Morten Olsen has decided on the following 23 player squad for the upcoming World Cup 2010 in South Africa that is the final selection for the team’s official World Cup roster. Injured defender Simon Kjaer has been included in the 23-man squad of Denmark, but coach Olsen has the option to replace the player later on before his team’s first World Cup game on June 14 2010. The list below is the official Denmark World Cup team roster as formally announced on June 1st 2010. The final roster cannot be modified unless a player gets injured before the very first match of Denmark in the World Cup 2010. The captain of Denmark is forward Jon Dahl Tomasson who plays for the Dutch team of Feyenoord in the Dutch Eredivisie league.
