The coach of South Africa Carlos Alberto Parreira has selected the following 23 player squad for the World Cup 2010“>2010 World Cup in South Africa that compromise the team’s World Cup squad. What’s surprising is the fact that only three forwards have been selected in the roster, and it seems that South Africa will be mostly playing a defensive game this summer. South Africa’s all-time leading scorer Benni McCarthy has also been cut apparently.
